Stunning build quality with a high specification
The Helios horsebox range is designed to transport the largest of horses in comfort and incorporates strength, longevity and safety with a high standard specification. It combines the perfect balance between strength, aesthetic appeal, functionality and most important of all, a pleasing, safe and comfortable environment for horses.
For longevity we have replaced aluminium with stainless steel and embrace a range of new materials and the latest technologies. Working from the ground up, each Helios horsebox benefits from the lowest possible load height and has an extremely low stainless steel ramp at just 0.81 metres (32”) that is full width of the horse area, allowing the largest of horses to load and turn more easily.
Horse Safety
We have taken horse safety to another level with our integrated stainless steel horse safety cell, welded to the rear frame and centre partition and this in turn forms part of the sub-frame (so not bolted to the floor afterwards!). Horse walls are double skinned and each horse is individually protected by our groundbreaking 35mm Coat-X rip resistant Polyurea padding on the horse partitions and loading doors.
Designed to reduce fuel consumption and wind noise our exclusive curved roof system flows into the Helios luton pod. This Helios design reduces noise and vibration by up to 40% and has increased the internal height to a massive 2.50 metres (8’ 3”) providing a much smoother, stress-free ride for the horses. Each Helios horsebox has an auxiliary battery system with solar charging, plus solar charging for the chassis batteries. The horse area has a shielded air extraction system with an integral heated rug rack, tubular stainless steel horse partitions and rear horse doors. We include metallic paint, upholstery throughout and bonded windows with smoked glass.
